Been wanting to draw something like this for a reeeeally long time, and I'm glad I made it @w@ 'tis Lady Indigo, founder and owner of RainDance Stables. And I know what you're thinking; A horse anthro running a horse ranch? Well, yeah, I just did it. YOUR MIND HAS BEEN BLOWN


I want to eventually make an info sheet like this for the whole RDS staff, but that's an ambitious project that'll take a while

Info: Born and raised in the midwest, Indigo has had a passion for horses for as long as she can remember. Despite growing up unable to actually afford a horse of her own, she went to riding lessons religiously each week and bonded with many of the lesson horses. Being a horse anthropomorph herself gave her unique advantages around equines, such as being more in-tune with the animals as well as being able to communicate more subtle commands through her cues, as well as read the horse's moods and predict their actions with more certainty than most riders. After years of scrimping and saving, Indigo moved out west to California where her father's half of the family comes from, and began going to art school in San Francisco, while taking equitation classes at a nearby stable. After graduation, she set her sights on a gorgeous piece of land near Santa Cruz, and began building RainDance Stables. Construction of the complex continues to this day, and the breeding program has taken off impressively, though Indigo does hope to enter her stunning steeds in more shows in the future.
